As part of the activities to mark Child Month, the Child Care Board (CCB) will hold a T20 cricket match – the Child Care Board vs Entertainers; and the CCB Residential and Office vs. CCB Day Care – on Friday, May 19, at the Dover Playing Field, Christ Church, at 6:30 p.m.

The CCB is also inviting the public to its annual Karaoke Fun Day, on Saturday, May 20, at the Old Banks Breweries Limited, Wildey, St. Michael, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. There will be jumping tents, prizes and lucky dips, as well as a karaoke competition for children and adults.

Tickets may be purchased from any of the Government Day Nurseries, as well as the Child Care Board, Fred Edghill Building, Cheapside, St. Michael. Persons interested in selling tickets are also asked to note that there will be a cash prize for the person who sells the most tickets.

The following week, Saturday, May 27, the staff will collaborate with the Barbados Defence Force (BDF) to host a variety concert and calypso competition. It will be held at BDF Headquarters, St. Ann’s Fort, Garrison, St. Michael, at 7:00 p.m.

Interested persons may purchase tickets at the Child Care Board.
