Two government agencies will tomorrow, Tuesday, April14, officially receive a donation from the Yes We Care programme.

The International Business Division and the Corporate Affairs and Intellectual Property Office were selected as the first tenants to receive the donations.

The handover will take place in the conference room of the International Business Division on the 8th Floor, Baobab Tower at 2:00 p.m.

Organised and conceptualised by the Caribbean Tourism Organization last Christmas, the outreach programme is for tenants of Baobab Tower, Warrens, St. Michael.

According to Senior Administrative Officer in the Division of International Business, Diane Yearwood, a bin was placed on the ground floor to collect donations that were given out to various charitable organisations.

???The programme was so successful that it was extended to 2015 with an environmental focus linked to greening/ waste management and also to charities,??? she said.

Ms. Yearwood further explained that each staff member was asked to contribute BDS $1 each month and each month the tenants would select a charity of their choice for which the funds collected from the Ministry or department would be presented.
