The Ministry of Agriculture is now accepting applications for the intake of students for Cohort 5 of the Youth Agri-preneurship Incubator Programme (YAIP).

The YAIP is a scientific and technological intensive training programme which is geared towards preparing entrepreneurs for the sector.

Applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 35 years and must be able to attend classes Monday to Friday during normal business hours 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Additionally, they must have worked or be currently working in the agricultural sector, completed a course of study in agriculture, have an entrepreneurial focus, be desirous of developing the sector to meet world standards and must be able to use innovation to develop the sector.

Completed forms may be returned to youthagribiz@gmail.com or to the Ministry of Agriculture in Graeme Hall, Christ Church, before Friday, September 29. The YAIP programme will commence on Tuesday, October 16, to March 2, 2018.
