On Saturday, September 24, the National Conservation Commission (NCC) is inviting the public to celebrate National Arbor Day at their massive Expo and plant sale.?? The all-day event will be held at the headquarters of the NCC, Codrington, St. Michael from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Under the theme, TREES: The Circle of Life, the Expo will highlight the many products and services derived from trees that are consumed and utilised on a daily basis. The NCC aims to promote the importance and usefulness of tress through interactive demonstrations, display booths, and workshops.?? Focus will be placed on pertinent areas in agriculture and botany such as plant care, plant propagation, identification and eradication of pests and diseases that affect plants.
Additionally, there will be a massive plant sale with discounts up to 20 per cent on selected plants.?? There is no admission charge, and all are invited.
