The Ministry of Tourism is in the process of planning a Bajan Pride Exposition to be staged in Chalky Mount, St. Andrew later this year.
In order to finalise plans for the event and to get ideas and feedback from residents of that parish, the Ministry will be meeting with members of the community this Saturday, October 13, at the Wesleyan Holiness church, Chalky Mount, St. Andrew, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The Expo will be an opportunity for residents to display and sell their art and craft as well as to interact with visitors to the island. In addition, visitors will be able to learn more about Barbadian culture and community life.
