Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Ronald Jones, will sign an Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation, this Wednesday, January 18, on behalf of the Government of Barbados, with the People’s Republic of China.

It will provide aid for the HOPE Agricultural Institute in St. Lucy and The Project for the Centre of Food Security and Entrepreneurship.

The signing ceremony will take place in the Minister’s Conference Room at the Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St. Michael, beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Ambassador of China to Barbados, Wang Ke, will sign on behalf of her country.
