The Barbados Defence Force (BDF) will officially hand over the renovated home of double amputee Eustace Forde, on Thursday, August 16, at Lot 3, Pipers Avenue, Lodge Hill, St. Michael.
Mr. Forde has been living in very challenging conditions and utilising outdoor facilities. BDF’s Building Rehabilitation Projects Manager, Major Lubin Maxwell, said that the BDF team had converted the two-bedroom home to accommodate access for disabled persons and installed an indoor bathroom.
The project commenced on June 11, 2018.
