The Barbados Community College will hold its 45th Graduation Ceremony under the theme: 50 Years of Community: Transforming a Nation, on Saturday, November 3, at the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, Wildey, St. Michael, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

A total of 1,074 graduands are eligible to be conferred with nine Post Graduate Diplomas; 74 Bachelor Degrees; 59 Post Associate Diplomas; 808 Associate Degrees in the areas of Arts, Science, Applied Arts and Applied Science; 120 Community College Certificates and four external certificates (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry).

The Valedictorian for this year’s graduation is Barbados Exhibition winner, Che-Annika Mayers, who achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.940. Ms. Mayers will graduate with an Associate Degree in Theatre Arts from the Division of Fine Arts.

The featured speaker will be Acting Minister of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, Senator Lucille Moe.
