The Barbados Community College’s (BCC) Portfolio 2018 continues tomorrow, Wednesday, April 25, with the Music Portfolio themed: Mode of the Night, at the Frank Collymore Hall, beginning at 8:00 p.m.

Presented by the BCC’s Division of Fine Arts, Portfolio showcases students’ exhibitions and performances from the Division’s Associate Degree and Degree programmes. Final year students of 2018, from the Associate Degree programmes in Music, Theatre Arts, Dance and Visual Arts, as well as the Bachelor of Fine Arts Degrees in Studio Art and Graphic Design, will be showcased over three weeks at three different venues.

The other shows are: Theatre Arts portfolio on April 26, 27 and 28 and May 3, 4 and 5 at the Daphne Joseph Hackett Theatre, Queen’s Park, beginning at 7:00 p.m.; and the Dance Portfolio on April 29, at the Frank Collymore Hall, starting at 7:00 p.m.

The Studio Portfolio Exhibition entitled: Headspace, opens with a reception on Thursday, May 3, at the Morningside Gallery, Barbados Community College, “Eyrie”, Howells Cross Road, St. Michael, starting at 6:30 p.m. It continues daily from Friday, May 4, to Friday, May 11, from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, and from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5.

The Visual Arts Portfolio, which will run from May 3 to 11, will open at the Morningside Gallery on the same night as the Studio Portfolio, while the Graphic Design showcase themed: Unfold, will begin on Friday, May 4, at the Grande Salle, Central Bank of Barbados, at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets, including seasonal passes for the Music, Theatre and Dance Portfolios, may be purchased at The Book Source, the Barbados Community College; and A&B Soundz, Sheraton Mall. The Graphic Design, Visual Arts and Studio showcases are free to members of the public.
