Nine Barbadian companies are currently on a trade mission to St. Lucia, which is being led by the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation (BIDC).

The companies include: East Point Productions Inc., a vocal coaching and training services business founded by Kellie Cadogan; Fiberpol Inc., which specializes in kitchen cabinetry and countertops; Innovative Interiors & Design Associates Inc., which provides interior decorative services for commercial and residential spaces and Magnolia Chocolatier, makers of gourmet chocolates.

Also on the trade mission are Waves of Bliss, which provides orgasmic intelligent services; Naara Elements of Beauty and Imoro, two companies that make soaps, lotions, scrubs and body oils; Valencia Ltd, manufacturers of Yogurt dips and Greek yogurt, under the brand, ‘Vaylen, and La Rosa Couture Inc., which produces apparel and resort wear, specialising in kaftans, cover-ups and custom-made swimwear.

The Mission, which started on Monday, March 19 will culminate on Friday, March 22. It represents the culmination of BIDC’s Export Readiness Programme for 2018.

Six companies from the programme are participating in the Mission in addition to three companies that also expressed interest in exploring the opportunity to increase market share within the region.

These companies represent a cross-section of Barbadian products within the Food and Beverage, Health and Wellness, Building and Construction and Apparel sub-sectors, along with the music industry.

While in St. Lucia, the companies will meet with key persons in the St. Lucian business community and participate in two days of intense business-to-business meetings.

Meetings will also be conducted with officials representing government and non-governmental agencies.
