The Chairman of the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) Mrs. Leodean Worrell, met with employees of the Authority to discuss Government’s ongoing restructuring exercise earlier today.

Joined by other members of the Board, Mrs. Worrell told the over 700 employees that they were mindful that the restructuring exercise must be done in consultation with the Union in compliance with the ERA, as well as the principles of fairness and natural justice.

She said, “I particularly wish to re-emphasise the phrase principles of fairness and natural justice as we are aware that there exists among the staff of the BWA a tremendous fear of victimization and favouritism.”

The three all-staff sessions were held at the BWA’s Pine Headquarters.
