The Ministry of Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Commerce is seeking comments from the public on the provisions of the Draft Data Protection Bill 2018.

The comments may be sent via email to commerce.comments@barbados.gov.bb  on or before Tuesday, July 31.

Interested individuals may also visit the website of Ministry of Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Commerce to download the draft Bill. The Bill is also available on the BGIS’ website in the Downloads section under Resources.

The Draft Data Protection Bill aims to regulate the collection, keeping, processing, use and dissemination of personal data; protect the privacy of individuals in relation to their personal data; and provide for related matters.
