The Government of China is offering Barbadian students full scholarships at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, beginning in September.

Applicants who wish to pursue undergraduate studies must be under the age of 25, with at least five CXC subjects at grades one or two at the general proficiency level.

Those who wish to pursue Master’s degrees must be under 35 years, and hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least Lower 2nd Class Honours.  Applicants pursuing a Doctoral degree must be under 40 years and possess a Master’s degree.

All applicants are expected to be in good health and will be expected to meet their own travel costs to and from China.

To apply, prospective candidates should visit www.csc.edu.cn/laihua, or www.campuschina.org, then click application and enter agency number 0521.

Three completed application forms, along with a copy of the applicant’s birth certificate, should be submitted to the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St. Michael, by Friday, March 3.
