Abigail Durant of St. Gabriel’s Primary School came out tops in this year’s Barbados Secondary Schools’ Entrance Examination (Common Entrance Exam). She was the top female student with a score of 244.29 and an ???A‘ in composition and she has been allocated a place at the St. Michael School.

The top boy is Ibraheem Patel of Al Falah School, who received 242.89 marks, with an ???A‘ in composition. He has been allocated a place at Queen’s College.

Meanwhile, there were 10 top performers in English who scored between 97 and 99 per cent, while 26 students received 100 per cent in Mathematics.

The island’s top 10 students attend St. Gabriel’s, St. Winifred’s, South District, Gordon Greenidge, St. Stephen’s Primary, Charles F. Broome and Al Falah.
