Prime Minister David Thompson was a distinguished political leader and public servant who throughout his career occupied various positions in the service of the people of Barbados.
The Venezuelan people and Government reiterate their feelings of brotherhood with the people and Government of Barbados and express their solidarity at this exceptionally sad moment in their history.
