The Barbados Cultural Industries Development Authority (BCIDA) is inviting all cultural practitioners who have sought entry into the commercial European market to share their experiences.

The BCIDA is currently conducting research into the challenges or difficulties encountered when persons seek to enter any European country to trade in cultural goods, services or entertainment.

This would include persons who have had challenges obtaining a business visa as an artist, cultural practitioner or entertainer; or who have been unable to get equipment cleared at any European port of entry.

Those cultural practitioners and owners of cultural businesses who have experienced these or any other challenges are asked to contact the BCIDA at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth at 621-2700, extensions 760, 232, or 298, or email info@cidabarbados.org with details of their experiences, before Friday, May 25.
