Members of the public are invited to attend the official opening ceremony of the David Thompson Memorial Constituency Council Football Classic, scheduled for this Sunday, September 17.
The ceremony, which begins at 4:00 p.m., will be held at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex, Paradise Park, St. Michael. It will commence with the parade of teams, and will feature two matches, St. George South versus St. Michael East, and St. John versus Christ Church East.
There will also be entertainment, including song and dance, as well as the judging of the teams and presentation of prizes. Admission is free.
