The Bureau of Gender Affairs and the St. Thomas Constituency Council will host a discussion on Domestic Violence on Thursday, November 3, at Dunscombe Moravian Church, St. Thomas, at 7:30 p.m.

Registered nurse and counsellor, Mary Thompson, will speak on Domestic Violence and Conflict Resolution, while attorney-at-law, Andrea Simon, will discuss the amendments to the Domestic Violence (Protection Orders) Act.

A representative of the Royal Barbados Police Force will also speak on the extended powers of the police. The discussion will be moderated by Chief Community Development Officer, Patricia Hackett-Codrington.

Members of the public are invited.
