Minister of the Environment and Drainage, Dr. Denis Lowe, has made it clear that his Ministry will be going after those who fail to keep their vacant lots clean.
And, he will address that and a number of environmental issues this Wednesday, November 28, during a press briefing at the Ministry’s S.P. Musson, Hincks Street, The City office, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
"Unkempt lots are creating a challenge for those living in communities, and I want to appeal to Barbadians to clean up their lots. It cannot be fair that you expect Government to maintain all those lots," he stated.
In addition, the Minister is also expected to address issues of climate change and highlight Government’s efforts to mitigate against its effects, along with other environmental issues.
