Energy Week 2015 opens on Sunday, November 8, with a service at the Christ Church Parish Church at 9:15 a.m.

On Wednesday, November 11, the Division of Energy will host a youth forum entitled: An Economic Perspective of Barbados??? Current Energy Sector, at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.??Specially invited secondary school students will participate in the forum.

And on Friday, November 13, a ceremony to commission a 12kW photovoltaic system at the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus takes place in the foyer of the Leslie Robinson Building at the university at 10:00 a.m.

Other highlights of the week are a two-day Electric Vehicle Conference at the Crane Beach Resort, St. Philip, on Monday, November 9, and Tuesday, November 10, starting at 9:00 a.m. each day; and an Electric Car Race at the Bushy Park Race Circuit, St. Philip on Sunday, November 8, from 2:30 p.m.
