Coconut vendors will have one more opportunity to learn about the importance of sanitation and other best practices when the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security hosts the final workshop, in its recent training series, next week.

The half-day sessions will be held on June 18, 20 and 25, at the Vector Control Unit, located in the British American Building, Magazine Lane, Bridgetown (opposite the old public library on Coleridge Street). They are scheduled to run from 9:00 a.m. to midday.

Coconut vendors are reminded that they must attend all three sessions in order to receive starter kits at the end of the workshop.

For further information, persons may contact Colin Maynard at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security at 535-5202.

The training is a collaborative effort of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Health and Wellness and the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute.
