The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health continues its efforts to eradicate the Aedes Aegypti mosquito next week.

On Monday, April 24, areas to be fogged in St. Lucy are Harrison’s Road, Crab Hill, Crab Hill Development, Archers Road, Coles Cave, Grape Hall, Avis Town, Greenidges and environs.

On Tuesday, April 25, the team will be in Christ Church spraying Newton, King’s Court, Ashby Land, Lodge Road, Durants Development, Providence, Pilgrim Road, Coverley, Coverley Terrace and neighbouring districts.

On Wednesday, April 26, they will return to St. Lucy to fog Alleynedale, Oxford, Church Hill, Mount Gay, Mount Gay Village, Cottage, Alexandra, Lamberts, Peterses, Josey Hill, Free Hill, Mount View and surrounding areas.

On Thursday, April 27, Christ Church will again be targeted, specifically St. Christopher, Silver Sands, Lisbonville, Round Rock, Breedy’s Land, Ealing Park South, Walls Road, Parkway Drive, Jasper Avenue, Pearl Avenue, Parkside Drive and environs.

Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter. The fogging exercise runs from 4.30 to 7.30 p.m. each day.
