St. Philip and St. Michael will be the two parishes targeted next week, as the Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health continues its fogging programme to eradicate the Aedes aegypti mosquito.

The team will be in St. Philip on Monday, February 13, fogging Blades Hill #1, #2 and #3, Bayfield, St. Catherine, Sealy Hill, East Point, Merricks, Marley Vale and surrounding areas.

On Tuesday, February 14, districts in St. Michael to be sprayed are Deacons Road, Deacons Court, Neptune Road, Carlton Terrace, Fernihurst, Brighton, Straker Road, Black Rock, Carter’s Gap, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Avenues Spring Garden, Paradise Road, Retreat Terrace, Danesbury and environs.

Fogging continues in St. Michael on Wednesday, February 15, in Grazettes New Road, Cadogan Road, St. Stephen’s Hill, Clevedale with Avenues, Murray Road, Wavell Gardens, Black Rock, Apple Grove, Yearwood Road, Melvin Avenue and neighbouring districts.

The team returns to St. Michael on Thursday, February 16, to fog Bonnetts Housing Area, Reservoir Road, Gunsite Road, Rollins Road, Deighton Road with Avenues, Brathwaite’s Gap, Dayrells Road, King’s Village, Phillips Road, Dalkeith, Paddock Road, Bullen’s Avenue, and environs.

The exercise will be carried out from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter.
