The Vector Control Unit in the Ministry of Health continues its fogging programme to control the Aedes aegypti mosquito population next week in selected areas.

On Monday, November 7, districts in St. James, St. Thomas and St. Michael to be fogged are Old Plow Road, Bagatelle Yard, Arch Hall New Development, Arch Hall, Bennetts, Seaview, Seaview Road, the Bridgetown Port and the environs.

St. Michael and Christ Church will be targeted on Tuesday, November 8, when Upton, Fort George Heights, Sunset Drive, Sunset Ridge, Kent, Kent Development, South Ridge, Regency Park, Elizabeth Park, Sheraton Park and surrounding areas will be fogged.

Spraying continues on Wednesday, November 9, in St. Philip. The team will be in Eastbourne #1 and #3, River Road, Lynches, Casuarina Development, Merricks and neighbouring districts.

On that same date, another team will fog Peat Bay, Apple Hall, Apple Hall Terrace, Bottom Bay, Ocean View, Inchcape Terrace, Harris Smith Road, Well House, Shrewsbury, Bequest, Eastbourne #2 and #3 and the environs.

On Thursday, November 10, the team returns to St. Philip to fog College Savannah, Fortesque Development, Thickets, Three Houses, Blades Hill, Bayfield, Skeetes Bay, Culpepper Development, Marley Vale, East Point and surrounding areas.

Fogging takes place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. daily. Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors so that the spray can enter.
