The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health will continue its work to eradicate the Aedes Aegypti mosquito next week.

On Monday, July 17, the team will be in Christ Church and St. Philip fogging Woodbourne, Woodbourne Park with Avenues, Berlin Road, Bright Hall, St. Patrick’s, Searles, Dolphin Drive, Tampon Close, Oyster Close, Bonita Avenue, Grand View, Packers with Avenues, Yorkshire and environs.

On Tuesday, July 18, they will spray St. Patrick’s, Lowthers Hill with Avenues, Fairview Road, Fairview, Leadvale, Walrond’s, Charnocks, Hopefield Development and neighbouring districts in Christ Church.

On Wednesday, July 19, St. Michael will be targeted, specifically Bush Hall Yard Gap, Ocean View Road, Perfection Road, Military Road, Accommodation Road, Eagle Hall, Roxy Avenue, Dash Gap, Bank Hall with Avenues, Quarry Road, Kew Road, Industry Road, Pasture Road, Promenade Road and environs.

On Thursday, July 20, the team returns to St. Michael to fog Belleview Road, Station Hill, Godding Road, Glendairy Gap, Deane’s Village with Avenues, Friendship Terrace, Lowland Drive, Green Hill, Mahaica Gap, Lewis Gap, Storey Gap and surrounding areas.

Fogging continues on Friday, July 21, in the St. Peter districts of Farley Hill Park, Prospect Road, Indian Ground with Avenues, Sedge Pond, Four Hill, Lonesome Hill, Jemmotts Gap and neighboring districts.

Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter. The fogging exercise runs from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. each day.
