The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health will continue its fogging programme aimed at eradicating the Aedes aegypti mosquito next week.

On Monday, June 18, a team will be in St. James fogging Rock Dundo Tenantry, Rock Dundo with Avenues, Bakers, Bakers Development, Bakers Rise, Worrell’s Way, Ridge Avenue, School Road and environs.

The exercise continues in Christ Church on Tuesday, June 19, along Maxwell Main Road, Dover Road, Headley Road, Dover Terrace, Dover with Avenues and surrounding areas.

On Wednesday, June 20, areas to be fogged are Queen Street, Archers Lane, Bovell Road, Mango Lane, Chapel Street, Gooding Alley, Church Street, Major Walk and neighbouring districts in St. Peter.

The team will be in St. Andrew on Thursday, June 21, to spray Savannah Road, Shorey Village, Douglin Tenantry, St. Andrew’s Church, Walkers and environs.

Christ Church will again be targeted on Friday, June 22, specifically St. David’s, Bannantyne, Bannantyne Gardens, Cox Road, Kent Road, South Ridge and neighbouring districts.

The fogging exercises will be carried out between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter.
