The Vector Control Unit in the Ministry of Health continues its fogging programme in several parishes this week to reduce the Aedes aegypti mosquito population.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 15, areas to be sprayed in St. Philip will be Eastbourne #1 and #3, River Road, Lynches, Casuarina Development, Merricks, Peat Bay, Apple Hall, Apple Hall Terrace and Bottom Bay.

The exercise will continue in Ocean View, Inchcape Terrace, Harris Smith Road, Well House, Shrewsbury, Bequest, Eastbourne #2 and #3 and the environs.

On Wednesday, November 16, the team will be in St. Peter fogging Olton Alley, Ashton Hall, Clarkes Road, Corbin’s Road, Reservoir Road, Millionaire Road, Station Hill, Golden Mile, Douglas Development, Heywoods Estate, Six Men’s Village, Colleton and surrounding areas.

Districts in St. Thomas and St. Michael will be targeted on Thursday, November 17, specifically Bagatelle Gardens, Redman’s Village, Welches Terrace with Avenues, Padmore Village, Lower Melrose, Jones Road, My Lord’s Hill, Licorish Village, Belle Drive, Odessa McClean Drive and neighbouring districts.

Fogging takes place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., and householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter.
