The Vector Control Unit in the Ministry of Health will continue its fogging programme to control the Aedes aegypti mosquito population in selected areas next week.

On Monday, November 21, the districts in St. Peter to be fogged are: French Village, Indian Ground, Lonesome Hill, Roebuck, Sedge Pond, Reservoir Road, Millionaire Road, Station Hill, Heywoods Estate and environs.

St. James and St. Michael will be targeted on Tuesday, November 22, when Thorpes Garden, Durants Village with Avenues, Holders Hill, Olive Lodge Road, Haggatt Hall, Bird Hill, Sinckler Road, Haggatt Hall Development, Roberts Road, Plum Tree Road, Cutting Road and surrounding areas will be fogged.

Spraying continues on Wednesday, November 23, in St. John and St. Philip. The team will be in St. John at Carter’s, Gall Hill Development, Gall Hill, Eastmond Road, Cheshire, Pool Land, Four Roads, Cherry Grove and neighbouring districts.  Another team will be in St. Philip fogging River, Lynches, Casuarina Development, Inchcape Terrace, Harris Smith Road and environs.

On Thursday, November 24, the Christ Church districts to be fogged will be Deighton Road, Brathwaite Gap, Dayrells Road, Rockley New Road, Ventnor Gardens, Rockley Terrace, Rockley Main Road, Blue Waters, Garden #1 and #2, Golf Club Road and surrounding areas.

Fogging takes place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. daily.  Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter.
