Barbadians and others on the island are being invited to come out and learn more about consumer rights, responsibilities and protection.

This is when the Fair Trading Commission (FTC) hosts a series of Consumer Outreach Days every Friday of this month to increase consumer awareness.

The outreach programme starts tomorrow, Friday, July 6, at Abed’s in Swan Street, Bridgetown, St. Michael. The second one takes place on Friday, July 13, at Sheraton Centre, Sargeant’s Village, Christ Church, while the third will be hosted at Cave Shepherd, Broad Street, on Friday, July 20. Friday, July 27, will see Consumer Protection Officers returning to Abed’s on Swan Street for the final session in the series.

All outreach events will run from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and members of the public are invited to interact with the Consumer Protection Officers who will be on hand to address a number of queries and related concerns on consumer protection.
