Persons who successfully completed the National Disabilities Unit’s (NDU’s) Fun Walk/Ride/ Wheel event are in for a treat.
This Wednesday, April 6, those participants will receive cheques from the City of Bridgetown Credit Union at 10:00 a.m., in the National Union of Public Workers’ Auditorium, Dalkeith, St. Michael. Mr. Winston Alleyne of the Credit Union will be on hand to make the presentation.
The Fun Walk/Ride/Wheel event, which was held last month to mark the Month of the Disabled, was an initiative of the NDU in association with Special Envoy for Persons with Disabilities, Roslyn Hurley.
