MEN???S FORUM NEXT TUESDAY

The Bureau of Gender Affairs will be hosting a Men???s Forum on Tuesday, July 23, at the Frederick Smith Secondary School (formerly St. James Secondary) at 7:30 p.m. The topic will be: Engaging men in the response to HIV.

Presenters will look at three specific areas: Hughson Inniss will examine – How does masculinity impact on men in response to HIV; Branston Clarke will address – The Barbados Family Planning Association men???s group and its role in supporting men???s advocacy; while Dereck Alleyne will look at – Fears and beliefs that men have in relation to HIV.

The forum is being hosted to engage men as well as to gather their views about the issue. All are invited.

PRODUCTIVITY BEST PRACTICES WORKSHOP THIS THURSDAY

The Productivity Council???s Productivity Best Practices workshop, which was postponed last week due to the inclement weather, has been rescheduled.

The event will now take place at the Divi Southwinds Beach Resort, St. Lawrence Gap, Christ Church on Thursday, July 18, from 9:00 a.m.
