SJPP???s Open & Flexible New Programmes

Five new online and paper-based courses will be introduced next academic year at the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic (SJPP) via its Open and Flexible Learning Centre.

The courses which students will be offered from October are Sound Technology; Supervisory Management; Networking; Basic Computer Maintenance and Communication Skills 1.

For online courses, applicants must be computer literate and have access to a computer with internet connectivity.
Registration starts for the programmes from September and applications may be downloaded from the polytechnic???s website at http://www.sjpp.edu.bb or may be collected from the Open and Flexible Learning Centre, Wildey Industrial Complex, Opposite the Main Campus, Wildey, St. Michael or SJPP Main Campus Wildey, St. Michael.

NDU Summer Camp Beginning Monday, July 22

The annual Summer Camp which is hosted by the National Disabilities Unit (NDU), in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, will begin next Monday, July 22.

The five-week camp, which caters for children with disabilities, will be held at the Ann Hill School, Pine Plantation Road, St. Michael. It will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekdays.
