Constituency Council Meetings Postponed
Two constituency council town hall meetings planned for this Sunday, March 16, have been postponed.??
They are the St. James Central and the Christ Church West Central meetings. A new date will be announced shortly.??
The Department of Constituency Empowerment has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
Good Shepherd???s Activities Aimed At Improving The School
Parents and staff of the Good Shepherd Primary School will be going all out this year to ensure that there is some infrastructural improvement there.
The school???s fundraising activities will be focused on developing a Literacy and Creative Arts Centre, which is expected to help students gain maximum exposure in the areas of drama, music, poetry and reading.
There will also be emphasis on building an additional stairway to ensure student safety and the school will be seeking to install a public address system to allow children to benefit from school discussions.Activities throughout the rest of the school year will include a fair, health walk and movie nights.
On Saturday, March 15, the Parent Teacher Association will be hosting the annual fair from 1:30 to 6:00 p.m. on the school grounds at Jordan???s Road, Fitts Village, St. James.
There will be lucky dips, tombola, Lagoon of Doom, variety stalls, door prizes, face painting, bumper cars, and jumping tents. All of the proceeds from the fair will go towards improving the school.
