The Graydon Sealy Secondary School will be showcasing the success of its School-To-Work internship programme during a meeting with partnering businesses on Thursday, June 21, at the school’s auditorium, Paddock Road, St. Michael, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

The featured speaker will be Culinary Director and owner of Terasu Inc, Couture Caterers, Michael Hinds. Mr. Hinds is an alumnus of the school and an active School-To-Work business partner who has received accolades in the culinary industry. He will be speaking on the topic: Secondary School Internship: A 21st Century Skill.

Representatives from the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training; principal, Beverly Bancroft; business partners, selected student interns and selected principals of secondary schools will be in attendance. The meeting will be an opportunity for the Graydon Sealy Secondary School’s internship model to be displayed as a working, vocational curriculum in secondary schools.
