Software giant Microsoft, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, is searching for All-Star teams of entrepreneurs, software developers, innovators and leaders to participate in TECH246 Hackaton – “Build The Future”.

The event take place during the Barbados Network Consultation 2016, commonly referred to as the Diaspora Conference, which will take place at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre (LESC) from Wednesday, August 3, to Friday, August 5.

This year’s focus is on the youth, and TECH 246 Hackaton will be a special component of the Youth Interactive Forum.

Local and international judges including from Microsoft, will be on hand to identify and present prizes to the teams that successfully manage to develop national solutions for business, consumerism and transportation.

Teams interested in participating in TECH- 246 Hackaton should email bnc2016@foreign.gov.bb by tomorrow, Thursday, July 28.

Additionally, persons who wish to attend the conference may register online via the website barbadosnetwork.foreign.gov.bb, or at the LESC from July 28 to 30, and from August 2 to 4.
