The Veterinary Services Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and Water Resource Management is reminding Crop Over band leaders, designers and the travelling public, who are planning to import feathers and other non-food products of animal origin, that they must first obtain an import permit.

Non-food animal products include but are not limited to: loose feathers, products made from skins, feathers, antlers, hair, hooves, horns, hides, fur and wool.

Applications for permits should be made at the office of the Veterinary Services Department, The Pine, St. Michael, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
