After some exciting matches in the previous rounds, the 2012 Inter-Parish Road Tennis Competition has reached the semi-final stage and Barbadians are being encouraged to support the players this weekend.

The first semi-final will be played this Friday, January 4, at Bush Hall, St. Michael, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The matches for the night will be: Juniors, Senior B, Veterans (Men) and Senior (Men A Class). There will also be a celebrity match between Dr. Anthony (Gabby) Carter and John King.

The following day, Saturday, January 5, the second semi-final will be held at Vauxhall, Christ Church, featuring the Juniors, Ladies, Senior B, Veterans (Men) and Seniors. Minister of Health, Donville Inniss, will play Minister of Family, Culture, Sports and Youth, Stephen Lashley, in a celebrity match.

Meanwhile, the finals of the tournament will be held on Friday, January 11, and Saturday, January 12, at the Dover Hardcourts, Christ Church, starting at 7:00 p.m.
