Letter Writing Competition 2016

Children 15 years and under are invited to take part in the 2016 National Letter-Writing Competition being hosted by the Barbados Postal Service.

Students entering this year???s competition will be expected to write 800 words on the topic: Write a Letter to Your 45-year-old Self.

All letters should include the entrant???s name; date of birth; address, contact numbers and email; the school???s name, address and contact number; the name of the teacher or supervisor; and the number of words in the letter.

Letters should be submitted to the Marketing Department of the General Post Office, Cheapside, Bridgetown, on or before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19, or via email to marketing@bps.bb.

The winning letter will be entered in the 45th International Letter-Writing Competition for Young People for a chance to win a trip to Berne, Switzerland, and to receive other prizes.
