More people are being encouraged to access resources at the Ministry of Agriculture’s library.

This call has come from Library Assistant at the Ministry, George Bayley, who said that the facility housed all types of agricultural books.

??"Our texts range from agronomy, irrigation, hydroponics, greenhouses, organic farming, animal husbandry and food processing, to crop husbandry.?? So, we aim to satisfy the needs of anyone with an interest or passion in agriculture," he emphasised.

The 50 year old library which is located at the Ministry of Agriculture’s, Graeme Hall headquarters, was originally just for staff members but it became available to the public as the need for more information on agriculture grew.

"We have a West Indian collection and also a general collection.?? We are accessible, not to mention we are open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. So, please come and check us out," Mr. Bayley urged.??
