The harsh reality of HIV/AIDS in the Caribbean will take centre stage, when the Ministry of Tourism hosts the award-winning play "Looking Back at Sodom" at the Frank Collymore Hall this Friday, February 18.

The theatrical production, one of the final events in observance of Love Safely Week, features local talent and will be presented to an audience of tourism workers, stakeholders and partners in the fight against HIV/AIDS.??

Over the past six years, the Ministry of Tourism has used similar productions to sensitise those within the sector about HIV and AIDS.?? According to HIV/AIDS Coordinator at the Ministry Madge Dalrymple, stigma, discrimination and acceptance will be highlighted during the play, as these continue to be crucial factors in the fight for greater understanding of the disease and its impact.??????

"Looking Back at Sodom" will feature a directorial duo – Winston Farrell and Cecily Spencer-Cross – and some of Barbados’ best, young artists, including Leanne Humphrey, Ashley Corbin and Angelo Lascelles.??
