Mall concerts which are a usual feature of Education Month will be held again this year, giving students across the island an opportunity to showcase their talents.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation will host the series of lunch time concerts every Wednesday in October on the 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th. They will be held under the theme for Education Month 2017: Firm Foundations = Quality Education.

All shows are expected to begin at noon and members of the public are invited to attend and support the students as they sing, drum and perform.

The first event will be held on Wednesday, October 4, at the Lanterns Mall, Hastings, Christ Church. It will highlight schools in that particular community as well as others. These include: Arthur Smith Primary, Graydon Sealy Secondary, Bay Primary, The St. Michael School, Parkinson Memorial Secondary and St. Bartholomew Primary.
