The community outreach begins at 10:30 a.m. and the visit is expected to last for one hour, with the tiny tots performing songs and presenting a gift basket to the home.

The Maria Holder Nursery School, Gall Hill, located at Church Hill Road, Christ Church, has been engaged in activities surrounding the theme for the year: Celebrating 50 years of Independence: Community, Culture and Cuisine.

Principal, Olwin Walker, in providing the rationale for the event said, “We expect students to develop an appreciation for the elderly and to show them that appreciation in a tangible manner. We will ensure that this relationship continues.”

The Maria Holder Nursery School, Gall Hill, caters to children aged 3 and 4, and was first opened on September 12, 2016. On January 6 of this year, it was officially opened by Prime Minister Freundel Stuart.
