As the Barbados Agricultural Society (BAS) makes final preparations for this year’s Agrofest, exhibitors are being invited to a meeting next Wednesday, February 15.

It will take place in Queen’s Park, the City, at 2:00 p.m. and persons are asked to congregate in front of the Daphne Joseph Hackett Theatre.

The meeting will be an opportunity for exhibitors to be updated on booth space allocation, the rules and regulations for the exhibition, traffic flow and parking procedures, and to arrange times for badge collection.

Some 250 exhibitors are expected at this year’s event. Food vendors, agro processors and exhibitors with sample food items and snacks are also reminded that they must collect the necessary licences and health certificates from the Winston Scott Polyclinic before Monday, February 13.??

Exhibitors who have already registered and have outstanding balances on their booth space fees are also asked to settle these accounts immediatelyAgrofest will run from Friday, February 24, to Sunday, February 26 under the theme Renewable Energy: Powering Agriculture to Success.
