The outreach tours to business establishments and vendors started last year by Minister of Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Commerce, Dwight Sutherland, will continue this month.

Designed to improve strategic alliances with stakeholders, the initiative begins with a focus on gas stations, markets and business entities. On Wednesday, January 9, Minister Sutherland will visit Sol, Warrens, St. Michael, at 10:30 a.m., while on Friday, January, 11, he will tour the Cheapside Market, in The City, from 11:00 a.m.

The following Wednesday, January 16, the Minister will visit Pricesmart, Lodge Hill, St. Michael, at 10:30 a.m., and on Friday, January 18, the Palmetto Market, High Street, Bridgetown, from 10:30 a.m. Minister Sutherland is also expected to meet with management and staff of Rubis Kendal Hill during the month.

He will be accompanied by Permanent Secretary, Terry Bascombe, and representatives from the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, as well as the Barbados National Standards Institution.
