The impact of e-commerce will come under the microscope early next month, when the Ministry of Industry, International Business, Commerce and Small Business Development hosts a seminar.

The seminar, which takes place on Wednesday, April 8, from 9:00 a.m. to noon, at Bagnall???s Point Gallery, Pelican Village, St. Michael, will be held under the theme: The impact of e-commerce on entrepreneurs and small businesses: Cyber-crime, Intellectual property rights and Maintaining your web presence.

Presenters will include Co-founder of the Caribbean Cyber Security Centre, Deon Olton, who will discuss Intellectual property rights in an e-commerce environment; and Attorney-at-law Fiona Hinds, who will speak on Maintaining your e-commerce presence through search engines and social media.
