MONEY AND LAND RESOLUTIONS

The House of Assembly will tomorrow consider a Resolution to grant the sum of $88,624 from the Consolidated Fund and place it at the disposal of the Government for the service of the island.

Minister of International Business and International Transport, George Hutson, will move the passing of this Resolution.

Housing and Lands, Minister Michael Lashley, will move the passing of a Resolution to approve, in accordance with section five of the Crown Lands (Vesting and Disposal) Act, Cap. 225, the vesting in the National Housing Corporation, of a parcel of  land, the property of the Crown situated at Six Roads, St. Philip, to provide for housing development.

Prime Minister David Thompson, will move the First Reading of the Local Loans (Amendment) Bill, 2008.  The Bill would amend the Local Loans Act, Cap 98.

Minister of Transport and Works, John Boyce, will move the First Reading of the Transport Board (Amendment) Bill, 2008. This Bill would amend the Transport Board Act, Cap 297 to increase the number of members on the Board.
