In an effort to provide further support to persons living with HIV and AIDS, the St. Philip HIV/AIDS Committee will host a motorcade and food bank drive through several districts in that parish this weekend.

The drive, held in collaboration with the Community Development Department, will take place on Saturday, March 29, leaving the Emerald City Car Park, Six Roads, St Philip at 10:00 a.m.

The convoy will then travel along Farm Road, Congo Road, Beulah, Duncans, Union, Ruby, Long Bay, Eastbourne, Castle Heights, Harmony Hall, Wellhouse, Lynches, Apple Hall, Merricks, Coles, Lyders Hill, East Point, Marley Vale, Bayfield, Three Houses, Blades Hill, Fortesque, Vineyard, Parish Land, Church Village, Ebenezer, Brereton, Marchfield, Four Roads, Kirtons, Heddings and end at Rices Pavilion.

Residents in these communities are encouraged to offer assistance and donate non-perishable food items towards the food bank.
