Third form students selecting subject options for the Caribbean Examination Council???s (CXC) programme of study, as well as fifth formers exploring their options, will be the focus of this year???s National Career Showcase of the Barbados Association of Guidance Counsellors (BAGC).

The showcase, entitled: Embracing the Opportunity, targets more than 3,000 students at private and public secondary schools, and will be held from Wednesday, January 13, to Thursday, January 14, at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

It will, however, be officially opened on Tuesday, January 12, in the Henry Fraser Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Medical Sciences of the campus, at 2:00 p.m. Deputy Principal of the UWI, Professor R. Clive Landis, will deliver the feature address, while Guidance Counsellor of Daryll Jordan Secondary School and Vice President of BAGC, Saul Leacock, will deliver remarks.
