Tertiary institutions are being invited to nominate persons who have made a contribution to education through Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) for the 2018 UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize.

It is being funded by the Kingdom of Bahrain and the theme is “The Use of Innovative Information and Communication Technologies to Ensure Education for the Most Vulnerable Groups”.

Two awards will be granted and each recipient will receive a monetary prize of US $25,000 during a ceremony at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France.

The nomination process takes place via email at www.unesco.org/ict-ed-prize while new users should register here. Online submissions in English or French should be made by National Commissions for UNESCO via the online platform by November 22.
