Under the theme Violence in our Society: From Prevention to Treatment, the National Task Force on Crime Prevention (NTFCP) will continue celebrating its month of activities with a series of Crime Prevention Community Outreach Programmes.

Beginning tomorrow, Friday, October 14, from 7:00 until 10:00 p.m. the NTFCP will target the Haynesville, St. James district and will feature presentations from Member of Parliament for the area, Donville Inniss and Inspector Timothy Springer, of the Royal Barbados Police Force.

The other areas include: Queen’s Park, St. Michael, on Saturday, October 15, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.; Deacons, St. Michael, will be the focus on Friday, October 21, from 7:00 until 10:00 p.m., and the final area to be targetted will be on Friday, October 28, at Oistins, Christ Church, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

In addition, on Wednesday, October 26, Attorney General and Minister of Home Affairs, Adriel Brathwaite, will deliver the feature address at a National Consultation on Crime and Violence at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
